IN MEMORIAM

It is with the sincerest regret and grief that we, the Trustees, announce that Dr. Leslie Rippon Stone, our beloved President of the Foundation Church of the New Birth, passed over into the Spirit World on January 6th, 1967, as the within writings were in the process of proof. Surely, he is now with his soulmate, Mary Kennedy, and with his family, relatives and friends, to live in happiness and Love, in the mansions of the Lord forever, Amen.

Dr. Stone died at the age of 90, in Washington, D. C., his home for over 50 years and which he loved like his own homeland. He was a man of great courage and convictions, believed implicitly in the truth of the writings from Jesus and the Celestial Spirits and in the visits to the Spirit World which he spoke of having made in the past, and of the Divine Love which he and his soulmate, Mary Kennedy, had for each other, the one in mortal life, the other as a Celestial Spirit.

Dr. Stone backed up his love and faith in the daily acts of his life, kind, loving and generous to all, despite his all too modest means, and sought each day to serve the Lord by preaching and teaching the “good news” of the Father’s Love, to whomsoever would listen in the city of his choice. He held on to his beliefs with a tenacity and conviction and faith comparable to the early Christian martyrs in Rome, and deprived himself of food and necessities so that the Messages from Jesus and the Celestial World would be printed and brought to the attention of mankind.

His great faith was finally rewarded, after many years of tribulation, by the founding of the Church of the New Birth, and the successive publication of Volumes I, II and III of the True Gospel Revealed Anew by Jesus. His passing leaves an irreplaceable gap of love and devotion among the trustees, members and friends of the Church of the New Birth, a love and devotion we surely need now more than ever before. May he continue to love and help us from his new abode in the great beyond, with his Mary at his side, and with Jesus to point the way.
